Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla Lodge
Nkuringa Bwindi Gorilla Lodge formerly known as Nkuringo Gorilla Camp is found on Nteko ridge, 2161m above sea level overlooking a beautiful swath of the world renowned Bwindi impenetrable national park. This Nteko ridge offers a superb vantage across the kashasha river valley to the breathtaking, conical peaks of the Virunga volcanoes and the surrounding canopy of the Bwindi forest, the home to the endangered mountain gorillas.
Facilities
On the edge of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest sits Nkuringo Lodge’s ten luxurious cottages.
The chalets boast incredible luxury amid forest trees, flowers, and shrubs. The rooms are spacious and natural light fills them from floor to ceiling, coming in from your private viewing deck that overlooks the rolling forest.
There is also a private villa available, ideal for families or groups of friends travelling together.
Additional amenities include 25 hours of electricity, laundry services, en-suite bathrooms and a cosy fireplace to relax beside after the day’s activities.

- Gorilla trekking experiences are entirely customizable with the help of an expert safari planner. Children under the age of 15 years are not permitted by UWA to trek mountain gorillas, but the lodge has a broad selection of activities to keep them busy at the lodge.
