Uganda National Parks
Uganda is located in the Eastern part of Africa and its one of the countries that makeup East Africa. It is a country gifted by nature with people from over 85 different ethnic groups among these is non nationals. Uganda is a very hospitable country with a favorable climate throughout the year that it favors people from all walks of life and climate and its one of the few countries in the world crossed by the EQUATOR.
Uganda is blessed with 10 national parks that host numerous mammal species, birds and primates and among the national parks we have Queen Elizabeth national park. This is famous for its tree climbing lions and four of the big five with the exception of the rhino making it a full package of amazing wild life. Bwindi impenetrable forest national park which is known for harboring different species of primates like the white and black monkeys, red tailed monkeys, and also its main activity carried out there which is gorilla trekking. These are the main features that make this park exceptional. Murchison Falls Park also hosts four of the big five mammals with no rhinos among the numerous wildlife, a free view of the magnificent Murchison falls, a boat cruise to the bottom of the Nile. All these leave An amazing memory to the visitors. Other national parks include, Mgahinga Park, Semiliki, and Mountain Elgon, Kibale forest, Kidepo and Lake Mburo national parks. All these are a home to the amazing wildlife.
The government has also gone ahead reserved some places as well to keep and protect wildlife from dangers surrounding them like poaching. Some of wildlife reserves in Uganda include; Budongo forest reserve, Katonga wildlife reserve, Semiliki wildlife reserve, Mabira forest, Kalinzu forest reserve and Pian Upe wildlife reserve. All these host different mammals and other wildlife all amazing and pleasant to visit once in a wild. It’s a whole lot of adventure found on a trip to Uganda, the pearl of Africa.
