Mbarara district is found in the western part of Uganda. It’s bordered by a number of other districts like Kiruhuru district in the east, Isingiro in the southwest, Ibanda district in the north, Ntungamo district in the southwest, Buhweju in the northwest and Sheema district to the west. Mbarara is found about 290 km southwest of Uganda’s capital Kampala by road. Its part of the Ankole sub region and its estimated to have a population of about 445600 people.
