Mweya Safari Lodge

Within the heart of Queen Elizabeth national park, on the peninsular is the magnificent Mweya safari lodge. It’s one of the best safari lodges in Uganda offering luxurious accommodation in self contained rooms, strategically set to allow breath taking views of the fresh water lake Edward and the Kazinga channel from every single room. It’s also set amidst Uganda’s prime wildlife sanctuary, renowned for diversity of flora and fauna like antelopes and many more. To the east, lie the guardians of the birthplace of mankind, the Great Rift Valley hills, separated from the Rwenzori Mountains by the meandering Kazinga channel where the waters flow endlessly into giants lakes George and Edward.

There’s a wide range of choices to make and take from at Mweya safari lodge as Its completed with suites ranging from the presidential cottage, royal cottage, Rwenzori cottage, deluxe, suites to twin and triple share rooms all with en suite bathrooms and electricity as well as private balcony looking at the Kazinga channel and lake Edward. In summary, it has 32 standard rooms, 12 deluxe rooms with air conditioner, 2 suites, 2 family cottages, 2 luxury tents and 2 standard tents. All these provide good accommodation to the visitors.
Activities
Some many activities to engage in while at this lodge, these include, nature photography, chimpanzee trekking in the Kyambura Georg, launch cruise along the Kazinga channel, game drives , birding, game drives in queen national park, bush breakfast and nature walks.
