Ihamba Lakeside Lodge

Ihamba safari lodge is located on the shores of Lake George in the great queen Elizabeth national park, Muhokya Sub County, near Kahendero fishing village. It’s a perfect location for those who would love to experience the tranquility of real Africa untouched by mass tourism.

Facilities
This lodge is built in stone and thatch blending with the surrounding landscape. Its facilities include; the lounge and dining area, the pool, conference hall, fully stocked bar and wine cellar, WIFI, secure parking and a standby generator.
Rooms
African styled suites are the way to go with the rooms at Ihamba safari lodge. There are 6 cottages that comprise of twin and double cottages plus a family cottage each having full en-cottage facilities, private decks, indoor showers, slippers and drinking water. All rooms and bathrooms have a clear view to the Lake George which offers natural scenery along the visitors stay in the rooms.
All visitors and guests enjoy the use of the main lounge, housekeeping, laundry services, ample and secure parking space.

Activities
Many games and activities can be enjoyed within the lodge premises. These include private game drives, game viewing from the main lodge and swimming. All these can be arranged and done at the visitor’s convenience.
Other activities outside the lodge include; bird watching in Maramagambo forest and the Kazinga channel, chimpanzee trekking in the Kyambura gorge, mountaineering in mount Rwenzori national park, guided forest walks in the Maramagambo foret, boat cruises along the Kazinga channel, fishing on Lake George and game drives in the Kasenyi tract area-Isasha wilderness.
